Take part in the show that will be Planta e Raiz's new music video at Via Funchal! The song will be "De Cara pro Mundo"!

De cara pro mundo is the name of Planta & Raiz's new CD and of the band's new music video song, which will be filmed on July 3, Saturday, at Via Funchal (Rua Funchal, 65 - TEL: 2163-2000). Via Funchal will be the stage for this filming. De cara pro mundo will be directed by Alex Miranda, winner of 3 VMB awards for music videos by Selputura, Pavilhão 9, Charlie Brown Jr., who has also directed videos for several artists on the national and international scene. Planta & Raiz is releasing its second CD through Indie Records and will complete six years of existence in August. During this time, Planta & Raiz has matured and stood out as a national reggae band with significant representation, as last year they were invited to open the show for the Jamaican veterans Culture. They normally draw around 8 thousand people to their shows on stages in São Paulo's east and south zones. The band is formed by Zeider (vocals), Samambaia (bass), Fernandinho (rhythm guitar), Franja (lead guitar), Juliano (percussion), Cuio (drums) and Oswaldinho (keyboards). The show set list covers the repertoire of both CDs. Songs such as "Com Certeza", "Aquele lugar", "Vai Moleque", "Se liga Nattty Dread", "Todo Barato" are mandatory appearances. On the first CD Este é o Remédio (2002), the breakout hit came with the song Com Certeza. On this new work, once again produced by Rick Bonadio, they re-recorded the Blitz hit by Evandro Mesquista "A dois passos do paraíso" and completed the repertoire with songs full of lyrical lyrics, on themes ranging from contact with nature, spiritual atmosphere and the pleasure of playing. Whatever the theme, whatever reggae angle the band approaches, the group shows itself more at ease with each show and plays with pleasure for its most loyal audience.
