Fully Fullwood, Don Carlos and Israel Vibration send Espaço das Américas into delirium on September 7!

Despite the current difficulties our beloved country is going through, September 7th had plenty of reasons for celebrations, and one of them was the arrival of the sacred monsters of world reggae at "Independência ou Reggae", an event that brought nothing less thanFully FullWood Band,Don CarlosandIsrael Vibration. Even with the main names in national reggae -Tribo de Jah,Nengo Vieira,Adão Negro,Leões de Israel,Planta & Raiz,Reggae Styleand Espaço das Américas, the venue for the event, opened its doors to almost 8 thousand regueiros who would face a 12-hour marathon of music. The impression was that all the bands that preceded the culmination of the event played with more soul and heart, as they would later go from being musicians to unconditional fans of this constellation of artists. After excellent presentations during the event, it is time for Fully FullWood Band take the stage. Fully was the bassist forPeter Tosh, and today his band takes this important Tribute around the world. If anyone really likes the weight of a bass, one of the main ingredients of true reggae music, this event was a masterclass. In addition to Fully, who needs no comment,Errol "Flabba" HoltfromRoots Radics, the band that accompaniesIsrael Vibration, made this special night even greater. The magic takes over when "Fully" opens with "Coming in Hot", a great success that exploded on Brazilian radio stations, dictating joy in the summers of the 90s. "African" and "Equal Rights" shakeEspaço das Américas, but "Get Up, Stand Up" ends up knocking it down! If Fully's dynamics and mastery of the bass weren't enough,Tony Chin, a legendary guitarist with solid solo work, completed the team with mastery. AfterFully FullWood Band, a participation byFamília 7 VelasreleasesRaggamuffinsto warm up the crowd for the next attraction. WhenTribo de Jahtakes over the "Espaço" stage, there is general delirium. The public's receptivity towards the band was absolutely speechless, showing once again the importance ofTribo de Jahas a national reggae icon. While the Tribo dominated the house with their biggest hits,Don Carlosand the band were already gathering in the dressing rooms, always responding to requests for photos and autographs with great friendliness. When the legend set foot on stage, one heard a lot: "I don't believe it!" or "Look... it's HIM!" Don Carlos, who was once a member ofBlack Uhuru, knows very well how to return so much affection: With Pedrada! How about "Zion Train" and "Front Line" as business cards? Not bad, even more so added toDon Carlos's infectious performance. The star's simplicity is an example, and the crowd reciprocated with applause, choirs, dances and "hysterical screams"! "Just a Passing Glance" and "Movin" show all ofDon Carlos's vocal capacity and the untouchable competence of his band.
