SKOL has invested heavily in the Carnaval da Bahia. In just a few years of launching its block, it has already brought major international music attractions such as DJ Fatboy Slim. The block called "Skol D+" uses the slogan "O bloco de todos os ritmos". And in 2007 they will mix it up at the Bahia Carnival, the biggest street party on the planet. This year, one of the block's attractions is none other than Black Uhuru, one of the greatest Reggae groups of all time, having recorded essential albums in the history and evolution of Jamaican music, such as "Red" and "Sinsemilla". Black Uhuru will participate in the SKOL D+ block on Carnival Monday, together with Cidade Negra. A mix that will be seen by thousands of people from all over the world who fill the city's streets every year. More information coming soon.
