Meet firsthand the well-deserved 2008 Grammy winner for Best Reggae Album!
The Grammy party, the Oscar of international music that took place last February 8th, crowned the great Jamaican star Burning Spear for the second time. Spear, who won in 1999 with the sensational "Calling Rastafari", this time defeated Lee Perry, Shaggy, Sly & Robbie, Elephant Man and Heavy D. 2008's best album of the year, "Jah is Real" is undoubtedly a masterpiece for anyone interested in Jamaican rhythm. Every year, Burning Spear, who is one of the pioneers of Reggae, shows more maturity and creativity in his songs.

The last time he was at Brasil, at 2006, the artist played to thousands of people at the acclaimed Festival de Verão de Salvador, alongside great Brazilian music stars. We are now waiting for another tour of this beast through South America, and we hope it doesn't take too long! Congratulations, Mr. Rodney!
