Mariano Castro, known throughout Latin America as DREAD MAR-I, is certainly the biggest name in Argentine reggae today. At 33 years old, the singer already has countless achievements on his CV: 5 CDs released, the only reggae artist in the country who sold out tickets for 3 consecutive nights at Teatro Gran Rex and for two nights at Luna Park, the biggest concert venues at Buenos Aires. On the Internet, success is evident. More than 9 and a half million views of the song “TU SIN MI”, which became the hit of the Argentine summer, reaching the top of the radio stations and also in several countries during the end of 2010.
