The band ALMA LIVRE prepares to release another record! Check it out!

Alma Livre, a band born in São Paulo seven years ago, has a new CD on the market. Since its first year, the group has already achieved important milestones, such as 51 thousand listens on the European website jamendo.com for its debut album. The CD of the same name - ALMA FREE - was recorded at Midas studio, on São Paulo, and took six months to complete. With tracks in English, Portuguese and Spanish and produced by the band itself, the album will be distributed by Tratore nationally and will also be released in Argentina and Europe. For the release, the band prepared a performance at Na Mata Café, in São Paulo, on July 11th. A super show that will present the tracks from the new work and will also feature the repertoire produced by the band over these seven years on the road. Naldinho, the band's keyboardist, talks about the musicians' relationship with work: Reggae is a style that has always captivated us because it was born in ghettos, in a scenario of poverty, violence and prejudice. In just a few years, it spread throughout the world carrying its strength, carrying entire nations with its swing and its cry for peace and freedom. We didn’t want to be a band pigeonholed into a single style, we wanted to have the freedom to play for the essence of the music, hence the name Alma livre.”
