From Minas Gerais, the band Ukiemana embarks on its first international tour! Check it on Surforeggae!

The band Ukiemana will perform in Portugal, Espanha and Dinamarca, between August and September 2013. This will be their first major European tour. The show schedule started on August 16th in Cortegaça, Portugal, where he played a great show at the biggest music and surf festival in the country, "Surf at Night" (www.surfatnight.org).

FESTIVAIS PETHE WORLD

The "Surf at Night" festival had its first edition in 2008, and since then many international artists have performed on its stages, but it is the first time that the event has featured attractions from Brazil, with Ukiemana and Gabriel, O Pensador being its representatives. Another big festival worth mentioning is "Minho Reggae Splash", at Galiza, Espanha, where the Brazilian band is headlining the first day of the festival, September 6th (see the official website). On the 14th it's Ukiemana's turn to take her reggae to Operah, in the famous Christiania, Copenhagen, Dinamarca. The band's name is growing on the national Roots Reggae scene, and has established its music with large video views on the internet and many references on social media. This is the milestone that the band now expands to international levels.
