Alma Djem, fronted by singer-songwriter Marcelo Mira, recently released a new single titled "Deixa o Sol Entrar". The band, which was created in 1997, had been stopped and without recording since 2009. Their first album, "Grito de Liberdade" reached the important milestone of more than 30,000 copies sold independently.

From 2009 until now, Marcelo Mira continued his activities as a composer and had songs of his own recorded by renowned artists such as Falamansa, Wanessa Camargo and Ja Rule, Claudia Leitte and Ricky Martin, Natiruts, Biquini Cavadão, among others. Now back, the group promises to strengthen the national scene.
