With big names of the genre, Salvador hosts a free concert in honor of reggae!

In celebration of Dia Nacional do Reggae, Parque Costa Azul will host, on May 11th, a party open to the public, led by musicians from the old and new generations of reggae, from inside and outside Bahia. The event takes place between 4pm and 8pm.

With Diamba as host and with the support of Salvador City Hall, the event is musically directed by Eduardo Sepúlveda, known as Duda Diamba, who, through the 'Atitude Construtiva' Movement, has been promoting a series of events aimed at promoting reggae. Guests include Lutte, Zuluz, Kayman, Ras Erick, Folha de Chá and Sine Calmon.

Dia Nacional do Reggae was established by President Dilma Rousseff in 2012 and is a tribute to Bob Marley, an exponent of the genre who died in 1981.
