Fundição Progresso shook with Ponto de Equilíbrio, Nação Zumbi and France's DUB INC!

On a great night, the reggae of Dub Inc and Ponto de Equilíbrio joined the manguebeat of Nação Zumbi and set Fundição Progresso on fire last Friday (19 day of September). Check out the article by Rádio Layback, a partner of Surforeggae who also took a closer look at the event.

DUB INC

Responsible for opening the night, the European reggae sensation, Dub Inc, had his stint at Rio de Janeiro confirmed at the last minute. Lucky for those who arrived early, because the band took the stage on time and showed why they are considered one of the biggest bands of the genre at Europa today. The fact that the house was still filling up at the beginning of the night did not interfere in any way with their explosive performance. After almost an hour of show, which included tracks from all phases of the band's career such as "Rude Boy", "Murderer" and "Chaque Nouvelle Page", the band said goodbye to Rio with a mission accomplished, leaving the crowd who arrived early missing.

PONTO DE EQUILÍBRIO

Then it was the turn of the traditional Ponto de Equilíbrio to take the stage, with the Fundição Progresso completely full. They started the show with that GRAVE that people like, and had the whole house singing the big hits, such as "Janela da Favela", "Aonde vai Chegar?" and "O Que Eu Vejo", among many others.

NAÇÃO ZUMBI

Finally, the long-awaited time for Nação Zumbi to come in to close the night arrived. Paced by the three instruments that give the famous pressure of the band's heavy sound, they played the classics from the Du Peixe era, as well as some from the Chico Science era, such as "Manguetown", "Da Lama Ao Caos" and "Quando a Maré Encher", which closed the night in style. It was early in the morning and manguebeat took over the house, including the punk circle, and also the unreleased tracks for Rio de Janeiro, from the recently released album of the same name (the first in 7 years).
