Back to the roots! Solano Jacob is back with the band Leões de Israel! Check it out!

For fans of one of the most beloved and competent bands in national reggae, we have excellent news. Solano Jacob is back on vocals in the group and will join Killaman on the front line. Solano left the group at the beginning of 2006 with the intention of dedicating himself to a solo career that yielded two albums and a book, "A fé e a Razão" (2008) and "Santuário da Família" (2013), while Leões de Israel followed with two works: "Ethnos Brasilis" (2009) and the DVD "11 Anos de Reggae Pesado" (2013). We decided to go our separate ways at the right time, as we saw that things weren't as good as they used to be internally. You have to have the will and the same truth to form a group.” - said Edu SattaJah, bassist of the group. The return takes place after Solano's participation in the band's DVD, and some commemorative performances. The band's idea has always been to integrate, never exclude anyone who wants to transform through music. We are satisfied and happy with the performance of Killaman on vocals, Solano returns to add and strengthen” - adds Edu SattaJah. The return comes along with the recording of a new, yet untitled album.

After eight years of a solo career, it is a great pleasure to return to my roots. My first steps as a professional musician began with Leões de Israel and I owe a lot to them in terms of my artistic growth. The affinities we have, as friends and as musicians, naturally attract us without there being any effort to make everything happen again. I am sure that we still have a lot to contribute to the Brazilian music scene, including abroad. As 15 years ago, we are all still very excited about putting our creativity to work and producing quality, critical reggae that brings light to people's lives. We share common goals and life projects that, in a way, are the foundations for us to continue working. From the beginning, the band believed in music as a tool for the progressive construction of the human spirit. Music is part of education, medicine, spirituality, entertainment and being so rich in virtues, it is a way of propagating the law of love. Returning to the band is like returning home, being with loved ones and reciprocal feelings. New songs are already in the pipeline and what is to come will certainly be one of the best productions in the entire history of Leões de Israel”.
