The "Edu Sattajah Apresenta" project has arrived to strengthen the national reggae scene. With the aim of presenting the new voices of the rhythm in a highly professional setting, the project already showcased Rio native Victor Bhing I in March with the single "Estilo Rub-a-Dub", and now maintains its monthly regularity by releasing Rafael Peppe with the single "Promisses and Lies".

Edu Sattajah will release the single "Promisses and Lies" on vinyl, following the romanticism of the legendary studios of seventies reggae. Side A will be the vocal version, and Side B the DUB version.

ABOUT RAFAEL PEPPE

Peppe is a São Paulo native who, since 1981, at the age of 6, has breathed the air of reggae music introduced by his uncle, the rastaman Claudio Peppe. From then on he absorbed all the historical and moral values of the rhythm, influenced by heavyweights such as Luciano, Peter Tosh, Aswad, Wailing Souls, LKJ, Bob Marley, Israel Vibration, among others. After years as vocalist of national bands, Rafael Peppe decided to pursue a solo career, and at the end of 2013 released the album "Algo Novo", featuring appearances by Junior Dread, Kuky Lughon, Solano Jacob, Dada Yute, Fex Bandollero, Isaias Carlos, and Zeider Pires. The album was produced by bassist Douglas 'Earl' Silva.
