Third World, the emblematic Jamaican group widely known for bringing influences from other rhythms such as Soul Music into reggae, has just released their new single.
Produced by the great Damian Marley, the anthem "Yim Mas Gan" by the Abyssinians, originally released in 1974, has gained a modern sound while remaining true to its roots through Third World's craftsmanship.

The song released by Damian's Ghetto Youths label also received a beautiful music video directed by Ras Kassa of the Hynes Group. Unfortunately, the iconic Bunny Rugs, Third World's lead vocalist, did not participate in this production, which marked the second time the band recorded a song by The Abyssinians.
Jamaican AJ Brown had already taken over the band's lead vocals on some occasions even before Bunny passed away, due to his deteriorating health.
