Raiz Tribal celebrates 15 anos with album de releituras of MPB! Check it out on Surforeggae!

Band Raiz Tribal, from São Luís, Maranhão, is celebrating 15 years of career with a project set to make its mark on national reggae. The album "Reggae Popular Brasileiro" is being prepared and will feature reinterpretations of MPB classics. Tracks by artists such as Cazuza, Legião Urbana, Tim Maia, Zeca Baleiro, Los Hermanos, Adriana Calcanhoto, Raul Seixas, Djavan and others are included. The most recent album — "Novas Trilhas" (2014) — already shows some of this band's relationship with MPB artists, as in the participation of Zeca Baleiro. Raiz Tribal is formed by children of Netto Enes, guitarist of Tribo de Jah.
