The EP "Sem Opressão" has just been released by Jah Wala. Its main characteristic is the message of empowerment for a people oppressed bilaterally and continuously day by day. With powerful and eloquent lyrics over engaging versions of classic Jamaican riddims such as "Police in Helicopter", "Sleng Teng" and others, the EP "Sem Opressão" marks a new direction in reggae music, currently made — predominantly — independently in Brazil. The work counted on the assistance of musicians and sound engineers from São Paulo, and highlights the fact that the riddims were produced entirely in Brazil. The EP is signed by producer/singjay Michel Irie and Neguse Anbesa Station.
