Katchafire is a roots reggae band from New Zealand that emerged in 1997 and started out as a Bob Marley tribute band, but gradually began composing their own songs. In 2003 they took a turn in their career with the meteoric release of "Revival". The album was the best-selling in New Zealand, surpassing 45,000 copies. They have already performed in Brazil on 3 occasions, and all with great success.
