TIMELESS! Marcia Griffiths honors Studio One and releases an incredible album!

Marcia Griffiths, a singer who is part of Jamaican music history, has just released her new album, "Timeless". Timeless, as the title itself suggests, it shows that the music created at the legendary Studio One remains strong and firm. Marcia was one of the I-Threes who accompanied Bob Marley, and she is celebrating 55 years as an artist. On the album, there is a selection of 15 classic Studio One tracks, from ska to rocksteady to reggae. The singer, who also spent her early days in music at Coxsone Dodd’s Studio One, revisits hits such as "Once Upon a Time" (Delroy Wilson, also known in Jacob Miller’s voice), "Baby Be True" (Heptones), "What Kind of World" (The Cables, a track often attributed to Barrington Levy), "Declaration of Rights (Abyssinians) and a fantastic ska medley with tracks by Toots Hibbert, The Wailers, Rita Marley and Jackie Opel.

The singer is currently touring Europe to promote the album. Until August 25 she performs in France, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, England, Spain, the Netherlands and Slovakia.
