See which Jamaicans are listed among the greatest singers of all time by Rolling Stone magazine!

Rolling Stone magazine has just published a list of the 200 greatest singers of all time. Among Jamaicans, the highest ranked was Dennis Brown, in 67th place.

Dennis even surpassed pop idols such as Michael Jackson, who appears in 86th, Diana Ross (87th), and Barbara Streisand (147th). But Dennis Brown was not the only Jamaican among the greatest of all time. Toots Hibbert appears at number 94, four places ahead of the King of Reggae, Bob Marley, 98th in the ranking.

It is worth noting that Dennis Brown, the highest-ranked Jamaican, was openly Bob's favorite singer.

In addition to them, two more singers from the "small-great" island of reggae appear on the list: Barrington Levy and Luciano, respectively in 119th and 143rd place.

According to the publication, Aretha Franklin is the greatest singer of all time, followed by Whitney Houston, Sam Cooke, Billie Holiday, Mariah Carey, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Otis Redding, and Al Green, completing the top ten.

Other names praised by international critics did not appear on the list, such as Celine Dion and Nat King Cole.
