La chanteuse de dancehall Lei di Dai commence une tournée européenne et montre toute la puissance du style au Brésil. There will be 25 days of performances, always with different selectors, and the exchange of experiences between reggae culture and the soundsystems themselves are the main points of this connection. Since summer is predominant there, most shows will take place on beaches, making the atmosphere more than favorable for enjoying good reggae music. The tour begins in Portugal on July 04, and it could not be on a better occasion. This year, Casa da Música, the country’s main concert venue, pays tribute to Brazil in Portugal, and on this special Reggae night, Lei di Dai also shares the stage with Natiruts and Comunidade Nin Jitsu. Singer Lei di Daí, the greatest representative of the Brazilian dancehall scene, will perform several shows this July in Portugal and Spain. Her trademark is attitude, which has made her stand out all over Brazil, where important magazines and even MTV Brasil have given due recognition to her work. Likewise, international producer Strikeconcert supports and encourages this new generation of national reggae, taking Lei Di Dai on her first international trip for the release of her album Alpha & Omega in Europe. Strikeconcert, besides being responsible for Lei Di Dai’s international tour, carries out various actions for the reggae connection between Brazil and Portugal since the release of the Copa Reggae compilation in 2006 and also with the Projeto Reggae 4 Life, of which Lei di Dai and several national and international reggae artists are part. Strikeconcert has 05 CDs autographed by Lei di Dai to offer.
