The Republic of Reggae 2026 brings to Salvador three pillars of reggae who have never shared the same stage on the same day: the Ivorian **Alpha Blondy**, a living legend of African reggae, opens the night with his repertoire of "Brigadier Sabari" and "Cocody Rock"; next, **Edson Gomes** takes the stage as the most influential Brazilian reggae man from Bahia, defending the classics of "Campo de Batalha" and debuting new songs; the closing act is by **Ponto de Equilíbrio**, who resumes their national tour after two years with the full band.
The night starts at 9 PM with gates opening at 7 PM. The WET space, in the historic Comércio of Salvador, accommodates 4,500 standing people with a view of the Bay of All Saints. Promotional lots until the end of October.
The musical direction is by Jeremias Gomes, with Surforeggae confirming complete journalistic coverage of the bands' arrival at the venue until after the show.
