Last reggae Sunday with Afetos at Sem Eira nem Beira in São Paulo!

Last reggae
The Sunday reggae session with Afetos was another excellent option for anyone wanting to enjoy quality reggae on Sundays, but it held its final show today, 27/05. Those who have already seen this outstanding band live know a reggae steeped in black music and Jamaican reggae — a band with real personality that also presented some of its new songs and many top-notch dubs to the audience. Its setlist featured Jamaican reggae classics from before Bob Marley's breakthrough, in LP DJ sets and band covers of The Ethiopians. They played Gregory Isaacs, early Paralamas do Sucesso, Gilberto Gil, and spun many dubs that sent the crowd into ecstasy. Afetos plays straight-up roots reggae, so for lovers of first-class roots it was a great choice — a shame this was the last Sunday, but we will post their schedule here on Surforeggae for upcoming gigs. Stay tuned.
