Tribo de Jah and Raízes Rasta play for nearly 20,000 people at SESC Itaquera!

Tribo de
Tribo de Jah and Raízes Rasta at Sesc... that's cool... even normal to say and witness. But what happened last Sunday, August 25? First the band Raízes Rasta took the stage at 3:00 pm for approximately 15,000 people and got the whole crowd going. The crowd really liked Raízes so much that they sold all the CDs they brought to the show!! Lots of reggae, lots of Bob, original songs that infected the crowd with their Positive Vibes. Tribo practically brought another Tribe. At 5:00 pm Sesc was packed. Those who went saw: top-notch reggae, which is peculiar to the band, excitement and lots of people. When you see the photos you'll get an idea. Stratospheric traffic around Itaquera and sun averaging 32 degrees made this Sunday somewhat special for the nearly 20,000 reggae fans present — yes... TWENTY THOUSAND! Shortly before the show, our friend Vina Surforeggae met Fauzi in traffic. A bit late, perhaps for not knowing what awaited him. To give you an idea of the traffic, Fauzi told Vina they were scheduled to take the stage at 5:00 pm and he thought he wouldn't make it in time, but everything worked out and this "small" group had the privilege of enjoying Tribo de Jah's classics in an atmosphere of many good vibes from that crowd. And to finish, a Jam Session of Tribo de Jah with Raízes Rasta, they played One Love taking the crowd to ecstasy. Seriously, what vibes! We would like to thank Maurício from Raízes Rasta for help with the photos.
