Turnaround in reggae record market: Trojan buys Ras Records!

The famous Reggae catalog of "RAS Records" was purchased by the equally famous "TROJAN". RAS was founded by Gary Himelfarb, the famous Doctor Dread, in 1980 and built a catalog of more than 2000 songs from 1980 to 1990. Artists such as Israel Vibration, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, Yellowman, Augustus Pablo, Black Uhuru, among others, have albums released by the label. This union will undoubtedly take Reggae to places previously out of reach. The first two titles to be released by RAS through the agreement with Trojan will come out at the end of the year.
