Unreleased Bob Marley songs to be released!

The international Universal label announced on Thursday (22) that it will release unreleased Bob Marley (1945-1981) tracks still in the first half of 2004. The multinational acquired, together with JAD Records, a license to release a catalog of 211 tracks recorded by the ultimate icon of Jamaican music between 1967-1972, that is, at the beginning of his career.
According to the Reuters agency, the package that now belongs to Universal includes classics such as 'Stir It Up', 'Concret Jungle' and 'Guava Jelly', in addition to six tracks that were never released. A label spokesperson stated that the catalog captures Bob Marley in a moment of 'street attitude', influenced by the American civil rights movement for blacks.
Much of the music collection had only been released on pirate records, which did not earn a single cent for Marley's family and his bandmates. The first album to be released with the unearthed material will be a triple album and will come out in March, including tracks such as 'Music Gonna Teach' and a version by Peter Tosh, at the time Bob's partner in the Wailers, of 'Little Green Apples'.
