Nimitiz hosts the weight of Leões de Israel! Check out the performance of this roots band here on Surforeggae!

Last Saturday, the surforeggae team went to Nimitz, a very cozy venue in Moema, an upscale neighborhood of São Paulo. With a very good vibe, the night was wrapped in the DJ set of Dj Samuca Beydoun with lots of reggae, dancehall and ragga. Nimitz had never been a venue that played reggae, but started this project due to the great demand for the style, and it has been working every Saturday, with the initiative of the resident DJ, Samuel.
The great and "heavy" band, Leões de Israel, was the guest to drop the bangers of the night. The performance started around 1 a.m. A hilarious fact: some people at the club were a bit out of place, and certainly didn't know that on Saturdays Nimitz played reggae and black music. When they heard the immersive sound of Leões, they quickly got hooked and started dancing. It was easy to see from each person's facial expressions that the sound pleased everyone greatly.
The band kept the bangers from start to finish, leaving a great and good impression: You can hear good reggae in a calm and cozy place. Discrimination is starting to fall. The show ended around 3:40, and it seems clear that next Saturday, Nimitz will receive some different faces to enjoy its programming.
