The long-awaited CD by the band EDU RIBEIRO & CATIVEIRO hits the market, called "ROOTS REGGAE CLASSICS VOL. 1 and OTHER SONGS." This 12-track album is a mix of Roots Reggae with MPB and features unreleased compositions by Edu Ribeiro. It is a diverse record, composed of various reggae branches, such as protest songs, songs about nature, songs about the good things in life and, as could not be missing, the style so characteristic of Edu Ribeiro: romantic songs. It also includes a reinterpretation of "Azul," a song by his greatest idol, Djavan. A CD with great arrangements and special guests: Micael Sene, guitarist of the great international reggae band Alpha Blondy on the track "Redenção"; Alexandre Carlo (vocalist of Natiruts) and André Brito (Peixelétrico) on harmonica on the track "Sereia"; plus a Dancehall (the mix of Hip-Hop with Reggae) called "Maravilha," with Dj Cia (RZO) and Função RHK.
