The promise of Gaúcho Reggae!

Reggae is a style that has been growing stronger over the years, but it cannot be denied that few bands and musicians have done anything comparable to Bob Marley's legacy. Paulinho Parada is a musician born in Rio Grande do Sul who has been fighting since 1999 for a place in the sun on the nights of Porto Alegre. Those who don't know Rio Grande do Sul may not know that this state is a place where the music market doesn't develop with the same frequency as other states. Only in 2004 did Paulinho Parada gain the strength to record a quality national phonographic work. Those who frequent reggae nights in Porto Alegre know that the Rastafari movement is weak, but Paulinho manages to show in his performances in the ghetto that reggae has a future, but you need to have faith and goodwill. Paulinho expresses in his lyrics a greater desire: the UNIFICATION OF BLACKS AND WHITES. Like few others, Paulinho believes that true justice and revolution are made through music: - "All the great revolutionary movements in our country were made through culture, such as art and music". In December, Paulinho will be releasing his first track, called "Tesouro", produced by Radimidia and released nationally. If the work is well received, Paulinho Parada e Banda will fulfill a schedule in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Santa Catarina. As soon as the work is released, Paulinho Parada will grant exclusivity to Surforeggae by making the song "Tesouro" available for download. Let's together strengthen reggae in the south of the country and, consequently, National Reggae as a whole.
