After living in Sampa since October 2004 and a successful vocalist change, SalvAÇÃO is firing on all cylinders for 2005. They already played on New Year's Eve in Itanhaém (homeland of Binho Nunes), and since the first days of January they have been doing pre-production on their fourth CD at their home in the state capital.
Result: the first meeting with the K'Rootz team was a success, so much so that owner Carlos K has already cleared studio recording of their first song for next week, to be released on the radio in February. This song will be a small taste of their next CD, due out around mid-year.
Beyond that, their shows are going swimmingly. This week, the band plays at Grito de Carnaval Reggae, an annual event among the most anticipated by the São Paulo audience, which this year will be at Expresso Brasil, Sampa's biggest reggae venue, where the crowd usually numbers 15,000 people. So 2005 looks promising for SalvAÇÃO, which will release its new CD with a heavier edge, thanks to the sound of Luciano Bheá, their new vocalist.
