Success at the recording of EDU RIBEIRO & CATIVEIRO's DVD!
It was a great night last Wednesday 25/05/05 at Estância Alto da Serra, with the “Tributo à Bob Marley” party, which featured the presence of 15 bands divided into 4 stages, with an audience of approximately 10,000 people. The attraction of the night was the recording of the DVD of EDU RIBEIRO & CATIVEIRO. The fact captured the attention of the entire audience present during the almost 2-hour presentation, due to its quality and the new features presented, starting with the stage set with a piece of Africa, and also the presentation of a new song called “Céu e Mar”, another romantic composition from its repertoire. A night full of participation, which started with Andrézinho (Peixelétrico) playing the harmonica on the song “Sereia”, also featuring the rap group Função RHK and partner W.O. in the song “Maravilha”, which is a dancehall song (a mix of reggae and hip-hop), and soon after in one of the most exciting moments of the show, where his friend DJ Cia (RZO) joins to present a reggae version of the song “Vida Loka Parte II - Racionais MC’s”. At the end of the show, as could not be missed, the audience went wild with the song “Me Namora”, thus closing with a flourish the recording of one of the first DVDs by a national reggae band. In this work, in addition to the show, there will also be a making-of of the recording of the “Me Namora” music video, images from other shows and testimonials from several people who were part of this project.
