World reggae suffered another loss on August 19, 2006. We are talking about Joseph Hill, one of the founding members of the brilliant Jamaican group "Culture". The vocal trio formed in the 1970s, reggae's golden decade, has released more than 28 albums, all of which, without exception, can be considered excellent by any fan of the rhythm. Joseph and his band were on a tour through Europe, where the artist suddenly became ill and passed away in Germany. Culture is a vocal trio formed by Telford Nelson, Albert Walker and now Kenyatta, Joseph Hill's son, who promises to continue the work begun by his father and his companions with great merit. The band will take part in the Tribute to Peter Tosh in Salvador/BA on the next September 2, where a DVD will also be recorded. The members decided not to cancel the performance because of what happened and promise to make not only a tribute to Peter Tosh, but also to the great Joseph Hill. Unfortunately the talented and charismatic Joseph Hill will not be able to attend, but these will undoubtedly be memorable moments for Reggae fans, who will once again be able to see one of the greatest groups of the rhythm of all time and pay tribute to him during the DVD recording.
