Digitaldubs presents MC Jamaican who participated in the album “Dub Side of the Moon” in concert at Rio de Janeiro. One of the most classic toasters (MC in Jamaican slang) in the history of reggae, Ranking Joe began his career in the mid-70s at Jamaica and continues to be active today. He performed alongside great artists such as Dennis Brown, U-roy and Black Uhuru and had his first big hit produced by Coxsone Dodd in the legendary Studio 1 when he was still 15 years old. This is the first time Ranking Joe has come to Brasil. In his performances here he will be accompanied by DJs from Digitaldubs in the best "sound system" style. On Rio, November 14th, the eve of a holiday, several singers and MCs also participated in the night at MCs, such as Black Alien, Nabby Clifford, Biguli, Jeru Banto, Lápide, M7, Ramos among others. In the 70s and 80s he made songs for almost all of Jamaica's major producers, becoming known as the fastest improviser in the country and earning the nickname “Bionic DJ”. Today, some of his most notable works are the album "World in Trouble", produced by Twilight Circus in 2005 and his participation in the lead vocals on the famous album "Dub Side of the Moon" (reggae version of the Pink Floyd] album) with the band Easy Star All Stars.
