The band's name is Mosiah Roots! Created 11 years ago, the group has been gaining admiration and respect from the public wherever they go. And in Hit Music Bar, in Salvador success could not be different. Every Thursday, starting at 10pm, at the Quinta do Mosiah project (read MOZAIAH), reggae lovers come out in force to honor the talent of this group born and raised in Salvador/BA, but which has already gained its space in Brazil. The band's motto is Music, Family, Conscience, Charisma and friendship. These are the pillars of the group that is ready to show the world that it is not just here passing through: it is here to participate and be present. Playing authentic reggae full of Brazilianness, MOSIAH is one of the great references of reggae in Bahia, having a large number of fans who follow the band wherever they go. Mosiah Roots was formed by friends in 98 and, little by little, built a legacy in the Salvador music market, becoming a reference for some reggae bands that emerged later. With a diverse audience, the group presents an essentially original repertoire, with references to big reggae names, such as Bob Marley. The group is made up of Luciano Correia (vocals and guitar), Paulo Fael (keyboards), Daniel Guimarães (bass), Marcos Alexandre Santos (drums), For 2009, the band is preparing its newest release: an album of new songs that will clearly demonstrate the evolution and maturity of the band, as well as a new website that is being prepared to fully please fans and Mosiah Roots contractors.
