Scheduled for May 15 and 16, Virada Cultural reaches its fifth edition this year. Organized by the City of São Paulo through the Municipal Secretariat of Culture, it has become the city's great celebration. It is part of the calendar for millions of São Paulo residents who follow it every year. During 24 uninterrupted hours, residents of the capital and tourists – an estimated 330,000 people this year – split their time among 1,049 attractions at 189 locations across the city.
