In its 8th edition, celebrating 2 years, the event is held in the city of São José dos Campos-SP, 80 km from the capital, always featuring artists of great influence on the national Reggae scene. The goal of the event is to offer a Sunday full of culture with theater, graffiti and poetry performances, juggling, and plenty of Reggae music. On September 26, starting at 1:00 PM at the Grande Paineira site (located on SP 50 Highway - Jd. Boa Vista neighborhood), the next edition of "Domingo Roots" will take place.HISTORY
In the seven previous editions of "Domingo Roots", the event featured Reggae bands including Nazireu Rupestre, João Terra, Jah I Ras, Family From The Ghetto, Guerreiros de Sião, Veja Luz, Ras Mocambo from São Paulo, Raízes que Tocam, Tabernáculo de Jah from Rio de Janeiro and international act David Hubard from French Guiana, as well as opening space for regional bands such as União Força Fé, Estrela de Davi, Força & Resistência, Sementes da Tribo and A Tropa. The event is held quarterly. In its 8th edition, "Domingo Roots" strengthens its proposal to promote Reggae music in cultural manifestations by artists from the region. The event will feature 3 bands, including União Força Fé, Lira Martins & Roots Love Band and Solano Jacob.

"Domingo Roots" has been developed in a serious and dedicated manner and its results can be seen through the growing number of people attending the event, with participation from excursion groups from other cities in the Paraíba Valley, North Coast and Capital.
