EXCLUSIVE: Watch the making-of for Ponto de Equilíbrio's new video with Don Carlos, "Stay Alive"!

Two great names in Reggae, one national and one international, were together in Brazil recently and formed a partnership that yielded many good results. We are talking about Don Carlos (Jamaica) and Ponto de Equilíbrio (Brazil). It all began when the great Jamaican idol Don Carlos was invited to record a song with Ponto de Equilíbrio for their new album "Dia Após Dia Lutando". The song "Stay Alive" appears on Ponto's album and also yielded a music video to be released soon. The music video was filmed in Rio de Janeiro during the tour that brought these two reggae giants together, more precisely in May of this year. The footage features various locations in Vila Isabel, the neighborhood where Ponto originated, as well as other well-known spots in the marvelous city. The video marks the debut of the Rio-based production company Bonde Filmes, which drew inspiration from the Jamaican classic "Rockers" to create this very current reinterpretation, showing the hardships of everyday life for any person. Behind the scenes of this production we have Marcos Sorriso (5 X Favela), cinematography by Daniel Basil, editing and direction by Rodolfo Vaz, with co-production support from Ney Carlos. The video recaptures the originality and essence of Brazil's historic music videos from the 1990s, in the midst of a market overrun by productions without content. To whet fans' curiosity a little, the "making-of" of the music video is being made available; its release date will be announced soon.
