Gregory Isaacs about to be honored with an album featuring several reggae stars! Check it out!

SaxophonistDean Fraser, one of the greatest musicians in Jamaican history, is bringing together several reggae stars in a tribute album toGregory Isaacs, who passed away in October 2010. Dean, who was musical director for Gregory's band on several occasions and was also a personal friend, announced that the album will be released byVP Recordsand will have 16 tracks.

Among them, classics such as "Front Door", "Mr Brown", "Night Nurse", "Storm", "Soon Forward", "Tune In", "Number One", "The Border", "Love Is Overdue" and "Red Rose or Gregory". Recording began in December atGrafton EstúdioinKingston, the capital ofJamaica. Big names from the new generation were invited, such asTarrus Riley,Gyptian,Jah Cure,Cherine AndersonandEtana.Gregory Isaacsdied of cancer in London at the age of 60, leaving behind a series of hits and historic albums, essential not only for reggae but for international music.
