Legendary Gregory Isaacs honored by his family through the "Gregory Isaacs Foundation"!

On July 15th, one of the greatest icons in the history of Reggae would be turning 61 years old. Although Gregory left us in 2010, when he succumbed to cancer, his music and work are as alive as ever.

A series of tributes to the "Cool Ruler" took place in Jamaica and his family took the opportunity to officially launch the Gregory Isaacs Foundation (Gregory Isaacs Foundation), which aims to help the disadvantaged, a gesture that Gregory frequently repeated during his life.

As its first actions, the foundation will be offering scholarships and helping to improve the teaching structure of public schools in St. Catherine, Jamaica. Funding will come from Gregory's legacy and donations from family, friends and fans.
