One year without Gregory Isaacs! Foundation in his name launches tributes and social initiatives!

October 25, 2011 will be marked as the first anniversary of the transition to Zion from Gregory Isaacs, one of the biggest names that international music has ever produced. To honor the artist and continue the work he started, the foundation that bears his name will promote a series of tributes and social actions. Among them, donations to "St. Barnabas Basic School" in Fletchers Land (Jamaica), Gregory's first school and to "Black Harmony Basic School", an institution that the artist already helped during his lifetime. An anti-drugs campaign will also be launched with an unprecedented video of Gregory Isaacs telling young people to stay away from drugs and weapons. In addition to the importance of the video's content, it draws attention because it features a painting of Gregory Isaacs, a work he received in Brazil during his last tour of South America in 2009 with Intershows/Surforeggae.
