Courtney John, a major highlight of the Jamaican scene, releases new single and prepares third album!

Considered one of the most talented and innovative Jamaican musicians of the 21st century, Courtney John is preparing to release the third album of his career. A preview can now be seen on its official website (courtneyjohn.com), the single "It’s Gonna be Alright". Courtney is conquering more and more fans around the world with her songs in the "Lovers Rock" style (as romantic-themed reggae is called, which has established names like Gregory Isaacs). The track "Lucky Man" from his 2010 album "Made in Jamaica" yielded a music video that was among the most played in Jamaica. The artist rescues the roots of his country's music, bringing back rhythms such as Ska and Rocksteady. The new album "Letters to Words" (Lyrics for words) should be released at the end of March, via veteran Beres Hammond's label/studio "Harmony House".
