The long-awaited album "Building an Ark" by Groundation was released on March 20th. In just a few days, it reached the top of the charts and was among the most talked about topics on the internet.
While the band leaders, Harrison Stafford (voice and guitar) and Marcus Urani (piano, organ and melodica) hold a promotional week for the CD at Europa, here at Brasil some indexes caught attention.
Three days after its release, the new album was already the 3rd most downloaded on the Mobile Operator's Online Store Claro, behind only Madonna and Mr. Catra.
In the weekly ranking of Crowley, one of the most important in the country, from March 19th to 23rd, Groundation came in 4th place overall in terms of digital music downloads, ahead of artists such as Latino, Nação Zumbi, Dinho Ouro Preto (Capital Inicial), Rita Lee, Jeito Moleque and Edson & Hudson.
On March 27th, the single "Humility", which also gave rise to a beautiful music video, reached second place in the Crowley weekly ranking of independently distributed music on Brasil, behind only the country music duo Luis Henrique and Montenegro featuring the singer Gusttavo Lima.
