Frederick Thomaz, better known as "Fat String", is a famous guitarist from Kingston, Jamaica. Among his diverse works, his phase in which he was part of the vocal trio Culture band stands out, during the album "Lion Rock", considered one of the group's best. Fat string has also participated in works with Garth Dennis, Junior Reid, Don Carlos and Black Uhuru, with whom he was in Brazil in 2010. The artist even presented his solo show in December 2010 in Brazil with the participation of Brazilian musicians, led by Ras Portuga (Baixista Filosofia Original).
