Professor brings together a reggae dream team and releases "Throw Down Your Arms" worldwide on 11/10!

"Throw down your arms" is the name of the new CD/DVD of Professor, the side project of Harrison Stafford, lead singer of Groundation - the biggest contemporary reggae band today. The album was recorded live at the Reggae Sun Ska Festival in France in 2011 for an audience of over 30,000 people and will be released worldwide on October 11. Harrison simply brings together a true dream team, with a band that features some of the most important Jamaican musicians of all time. They are Errol "Flabba" Holt (bass), Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace (drums), Dalton Browne (guitar) and Lloyd "Obeah" Denton (keyboards). The first CD of this true "dream team" was released last year under the name of "Madness" (also made available by the label), whose songs tell Harrison's experience when traveling through the Middle East. The project became even more ambitious when the artist decided to tour Europe with the same line-up as the album, and then came up with the idea of recording the CD/DVD "Throw Down Your Arms" at one of the shows. In Brazil and 13 other countries in South and Latin America, the album will be released digitally by the Surforeggae/Sound System Brazil label. Stores such as Itunes, Rdio (Oi) and Sonora are already confirmed. By November, other channels and stores will be integrated, in addition to cell phone operators.
