The members of the band Inner Circle, known worldwide for hits such as "Bad Boys", "Black Roses", "Sweat (a la la la long)" and also for being the group of the star Jacob Miller, went through a huge scare last week in the United States.
The band's bus was involved in an accident near the city of Baton Rouge in the state of Louisiana. On that occasion, a tire that burst caused the driver to lose control and the bus crashed hard onto the shoulder, with pieces of the bus hitting two passing vehicles.

The legendary guitarist and one of the group's leaders, Roger Lewis, said in a statement: "Man, God is good. I thought the bus was going to roll over and that we were going to die. It was like a movie, everything was flying and spinning. The only thing that stopped the bus from rolling over was a safety barrier on the shoulder and the driver who was very competent. We went down an embankment and then crashed. Someone really big was watching over us."
Formed in 1968, Inner Circle lost its vocalist Jacob Miller in 1980 in a car accident in Kingston, Jamaica. Since then, they have had other singers lead the way and have won, among other awards, the Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 1994.
