Last Sunday (27), the 10th anniversary party of the band A TROPA took place, in the city of Taubaté, in the interior of SP. In addition to guests from the local scene, from the most varied musical genres, the night featured the special participation of Rhossi, founder and vocalist of the legendary rap group, Pavilhão 9. The highlight of the party was the performance of the birthday girl, A TROPA, together with none other than BNegão, lead singer of Planet Hemp, who made a triumphant entrance, together with the group Maracatu Baque do Vale, and the three of them together paid homage to Chico Science & Nação Zumbi. Other legends of Brazilian and world music were also honored, such as Tim Maia, Bob Marley, Max Romeo, Dawn Penn, especially the rapper Sabotage, who recorded the song "Dorobô" with BNegão, and it was played in an unreleased version over the instrumental of the new song "Acende a Luz", by A Tropa. The party marks a series of celebrations for the 10th anniversary of A Tropa, which will soon release an album, music videos and a documentary.
