Full of tributes, singer JUNIOR MURVIN's funeral takes place at the end of the month!

The funeral of the singer Junior Murvin will take place on December 29th at Christ Church (Igreja Cristo), in his Jamaican hometown, Portland. Before the funeral, there will be some tributes at around 2pm. Shikisha Cowan, operations manager at Glory Music (the company that is carrying out the entire service), said: We will still confirm the people who will pay tribute...". Murvin, who rose to international fame in 1976 with the song "Police and Thieves", died on December 2 at the age of 64. Produced by Lee ’Scratch’ Perry, Police and Thieves was a huge hit in Britain, particularly with the emerging punk movement. Murvin's son, Kevin Smith, said his father suffered from diabetes and hypertension for many years. R.I.P.
