Marcia Griffiths will release an album honoring the artists who influenced her!

Marcia Griffiths, also known for being one of the I-Threes, Bob Marley's official female vocal group, is about to celebrate 50 years of career. As part of the celebration, Marcia is recording the album "Songs That Inspire Me, Songs I Love to Sing", or in Portuguese, "Songs that inspired me, songs that I love to sing". The album will be produced by Penthouse Records. I want to pay homage to the different names that I respect and that made me the artist I am today...". She has not yet revealed the honorees, but she guarantees that she will cover everything from Rocksteady in the 60s to Roots Reggae, as well as songs from the present day. Marcia has always shown admiration for other musicians, such as in the song "Back in the Days", where she mentions big names in reggae such as Jimmy Cliff, Toots and the Maytals, Dennis Brown, among others.
