Documentary will tell the story of the great Jamaican producer Bunny Lee!

A documentary about the great Jamaican music producer Bunny "Striker" Lee will be released on DVD on November 24th. "I am the Gorgon" was directed by Englishman Diggory Kenrick and is 86 minutes long. With footage taken in Kingston, London and Los Angeles, the documentary tells how Jamaican music spread from the ghettos and alleys of Kingston to the world. Additionally, the story of Bunny Lee is obviously told, who went from car mechanic to successful music producer. Big names in reggae appear in the film such as Lee Perry, Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, Dennis Alcapone, U-Roy, Cornell Campbell, Johnny Clarke, John Holt (recently deceased) and Bunny Lee himself. Bunny Lee began his career in 1962 when he was introduced to producer and Sound System owner Duke Reid. In addition to the documentary, a 22-track soundtrack album will also be released featuring music from various artists produced by Lee such as Max Romeo, Delroy Wilson, Cornell Campbell, Horace Andy and others.
