FIO DA FÉ! Ponto de Equilíbrio will release a new song on Black Awareness Day!

On November 20th, Zumbi dos Palmares day and black consciousness holiday, the band Ponto de Equilíbrio will release their new song, “Fio da Fé”. The composition talks about some facts that marked the recent history of Brazil and the world, such as the closing of the Mayan calendar in 2012, the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, the death of leader Nelson Mandela, demonstrations on the streets of our country, the World Cup and the elections. But despite all these changes, the song states in its poetry: ...there is no guarantee of life for the people, on the tightrope they balance again/ they are jugglers on the thread of faith”. The recording took place at the classic Toca do Bandido studio in Rio de Janeiro and the mix was signed by Rafael Paz, from Unit 76 Records. The video clip directed by Thiago Ferreira and graphic design by Márcio Sá will be released in December, celebrating the band's anniversary, when Ponto de Equilíbrio celebrates 15 years of existence. “Fio da Fé” is a preview of the new album, scheduled for release in the first half of 2015.
