Mato Seco, from São Caetano do Sul, has already released 3 studio albums and 2 music videos and has just completed the recording of its first live DVD. The show took place at Estância Alto da Serra in São Paulo, and the audience turned out in force.

To help finance the recording costs, the band launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickante, where fans can contribute and receive rewards in return, such as early downloads of the band's unreleased tracks and pre-orders of the DVD.
