Jimmy Riley, veteran artist known for hits like "Tell The Youths The Truth", "Clean up the Streets" and also for being the father of Tarrus Riley, passed away last Tuesday, March 22. The singer was in New York undergoing treatment but did not survive the illness.
Riley was born on May 22, 1954, and would soon have turned 62. In the 1980s he reached number one on the UK charts with a reggae version of Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing".
The artist's most recent album was released in 2013 with several special guest appearances, including his own son Tarrus, Sizzla and Fantan Mojah.
